Cookie Policy

1. What are cookies?

Cookies are small text files stored on your device when you visit a website. Similar technologies include local storage, pixels, and tags. They help websites function, remember preferences, and — if you allow it — measure traffic and marketing performance.

2. How we use cookies

We use cookies in these categories:

  • Strictly necessary — required for basic site operation, security, and storing your cookie consent choice. These do not require consent under ePrivacy/GDPR.
  • Analytics — help us understand how the site is used (pages viewed, traffic sources, approximate location). Loaded only if you consent, typically via Google Tag Manager (GTM) and Google Analytics.
  • Marketing — used for advertising measurement or remarketing if enabled in GTM. Loaded only if you consent.

3. Google Tag Manager & Google Analytics

We use Google Tag Manager to manage measurement tags, including Google Analytics. GTM itself is a container; tags that set analytics or marketing cookies only run after you grant consent through our cookie banner. Until then, Google Consent Mode defaults remain denied.

4. Cookies and storage we use

Strictly necessary

  • zct-cookie-consent (local storage) — stores your cookie preferences so we do not ask on every visit.

Analytics / marketing (consent required)

  • Cookies set by tags in Google Tag Manager (for example Google Analytics _ga,_gid, and related Google cookies). Exact names and lifetimes depend on the tags enabled in our GTM container.

5. Legal basis

Strictly necessary cookies are used on the basis of our legitimate interests in providing a secure, functional website. Analytics and marketing cookies are used only with your consent (GDPR Art. 6(1)(a) and applicable ePrivacy rules). You can withdraw consent at any time via Cookie settings in the footer.

6. Managing your preferences

You can:

  • Use our on-site cookie banner to Accept all, Reject non-essential, or choose categories
  • Reopen preferences anytime via “Cookie settings” in the website footer
  • Block or delete cookies in your browser settings (blocking necessary cookies may break parts of the site)

7. More about personal data

For how we process personal data more broadly, see ourPrivacy Policy.
